Watercolor drawing

This is my first attempt to draw using watercolor on used bond paper. I tried to copy the drawing on a birthday card but i wasn't able to get the right shade and the exact shape but for a first timer,i am thrilled to look at it.

This is supposed to be my blog for the things that i love creating but i haven't posted anything yet...(sigh)

Currently, i'm working on a doily using white yarn from unfinished crochet projects. I wanted to crochet the whole doily but i was short on yarn and i wanted to finish it right away before my interest wanes, so i looked for a white left-over fabric that was big enough for the round table and then crocheted on its edges. I copied the design of an old doily on the frills, so instead of finishing it faster, i'm still working on it after three weekends and four additional white balls of yarn. Didn't know, crocheting for the first time after so many years can make my right and left arm ache!

Hopefully, i'll finish the doily this Saturday (it's my designated craft day) and be able to post a photo of my finished project.
